What you think as just your average hard working farmgirl 15 year old D.J. is a determined althete who is not afraid of anything, Her tough personality has gotten her very far. She is even on the boy's football team. Saddly, the true reality has come to her head, she is treated like she is worthless,because she is a woman.

Brian
Brian is your average prissy rich tennager. A stright A student, Brian is very used to being spoiled. He is given a summer job at the farm with D.J. What happens you ask? Well, lets just start with the least cruel word: CHAOS!!!

Curtais
The little brother of D.J, Curtais is a shy 2nd grader. So shy, that when he talks it is like a miricle. Like D.J, Curtais has to work on the farm just as hard as she does. Curtais is also the favorite child of the family.

Mr.Schwenks
Father of D.J. and Curtais, Mr.Schwenks is not the brightest person in the world but he is a very hard worker like D.J. Well, he was he injured his hip while spreading manure( EW!). So he is now a lazy bum and now D.J. is left to run the farm. Which is a lot of work.

The oldest child of the Schwents family Win is a very succsesful football player. He is the perfect child in the Schwent family. He has a very rare trait, he is both smart and very talented in sports.
